Any damages to the bicycle caused by incorrect use will be attributable to the user, who, depending on the circumstances, may lose his/her right to use the service, without prejudice to his/her obligation to pay the reparation costs of the vehicle. In the event of a bicycle being returned late, the card used to access the service will be disactivated according to the following:
- If the bicycle is returned less than an hour after the designated window, the disqualification will be for 24 hours.
- If the bicycle is returned between one and 24 hours after the designated window, the disqualification will be for seven days.
- If the bicycle is returned after 24 hours following the designated window, the disqualification will be for two months.
- If the bicycle is returned after the time when the bicycles are collected at the loan points, the disqualification will be for 10 days.
If the bicycle is improperly anchored by the user, is found either parked on a public road without any anti-theft protection or in any area (public or private) accessible to the public where it is susceptible to theft, the disqualification will be for 15 days. Carrying a passenger on the bicycle is considered a serious offence, resulting in a disqualification of one month.
Following the introduction of the improvements:
- If the bicycle is returned less than one hour after the designated window, the disqualification will be for three hours.
- If the bicycle is returned between one and 24 hours after the designated window, the disqualification will be for 12 hours.
- If the bicycle is returned after 24 hours following the designated window, the disqualification will be for 24 hours.
- If the bicycle is returned after the time when the bicycles are collected at the loan points, the disqualification will be for 10 days. This will only be necessary for the Magdalena festival.

In the event of a reoccurrence, the following actions shall be applied:
- Three penalties: the user will be warned.
- Six penalties: the user will be warned and disqualified for 10 days.
- Nine penalties: the user will be warned and disqualified for 10 days.
- 12 penalties: the user will be warned and disqualified for xxx amount of time.
Penalties will be counted and recorded for the previous 12 months of use of the service.
The theft of a bicycle that occurs while it is in the possession of a user will carry with it a fine of €300 and a seven-day disqualification from the service. This amount must be paid after three days subsequent to the bicycle's disappearance. Should the bicycle reappear, the amount shall be the estimate of repair costs if it is in bad condition. Photographs will be taken, and will serve as evidence.
If the reoccurrence in question is of a misuse of the bicycle, as well as paying for the reparation of the bicycle, the user will also be permanently banned from the service.
